Tyler Winik joins Emerging Leaders Board for Runway to Hope

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Tyler Winik announced on Thursday that he has joined the Emerging Leaders Board for Runway to Hope, Central Florida's premier charity working to end pediatric cancer.

The charity, founded in 2010 by Orlando native and prominent defense counsel Mark NeJame and his wife Josie, has been recognized as Central Florida's top charitable function. The charity has funded more than $3 million to the area's pediatric hospitals: AdventHealth for Children; Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children; and Nemours Children's Hospital.

The charity's signature event, its annual Spring Soiree, featuring dozens of children who are battling these various forms of cancer as well as those who are in remission. Each walk alongside superheroes, celebrities, and other officials in a spectacular runway show.

"I am thrilled to be able to work alongside other young, committed professionals in Orlando showcasing our support for this tremendous cause," said Winik. "I was an early supporter of Mark and Josie's when they decided to launch Runway to Hope and am proud to have played even a small part in helping produce its first event. I am immensely grateful for this new opportunity, helping to tap a new generation of philanthropists."
